Montreal on location photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, child and family portraits

• • • How far in advance should I schedule a session?

Depending on the season, I typically book close to two months out. I suggest planning ahead! Occasionally I will have an opening or a canceled session, contact me as soon as possible to inquire, to confirm, or ask about a specific date you have in mind!

• • • Where will my session be?

This is really up to you! Word from the wise… Choose wisely: parks, farms and urban settings provide amazing backgrounds. When picking a location, make sure it’s a place that reflects your personalities or has a special meaning. My job as photographer is to help you choose the best place. My style of photography allows me to incorporate your favorite location into your images. In-Home sessions are also amazing and so unique to have! But keep in mind that clients who live more than 30kms away from H7E0E3 will be billed additional charges for travel at $1/km that will be added to your final invoice.

• • • What if the weather is horrible?

If the weather takes a turn for the worst (rain, wind, snow) then we will reschedule on the next available date. If the rain is light and bearable and your family doesn’t mind getting a tiny bit wet, then we can plan for a fun raincoat & boots session! I’m open to ideas! We can also do it at your home!

• • • How long will the session last?

I find that my clients relax right around 20-30 minutes in. A Family Session for 3-5 individuals lasts approximately 1-1.5 hours. I work according to how everyone else is feeling. I do my best to keep everyone comfortable and happy as well as fun, but sometimes we may end things on a shorter note. Especially when children cannot bear even one more second in front of the camera.

• • • What do we wear?

I suggest fun colors that are true to your personality! While it’s important to match, it doesn’t mean that everyone should wear the same color. Instead, I suggest coordinating colors and adding layers and accessories to make it more fun! And stay away from big logos and prints! Something to keep in mind while planning your attire is what you’ll be doing with the images from your session. Are they going in an album? Maybe you’re getting a Canvas wall display? • • • How long after the session can we expect the images?

You will receive a link to view your galley at about 2-4 weeks after the session. However, I will provide you with one sneak peek image shortly after, so you have something to share with your family and friends immediately. I usually post it on my Facebook page and I encourage all my clients to share links of the image, comment and tag!

• • • What is a proofing gallery?

It’s a temporary online gallery that will display the best photos from your session. These photos will be hand edited and creatively enhanced and are only for choosing the ones you’d like to buy. Copying or making screen shots of these images violates copyright law and is illegal. Please note: The proofing gallery is only made available for a period of 15 days. Please ensure that all orders are placed before the gallery expires. A fee of $25 will be charged to re-activate the gallery for 7 more days.

• • • Do you photograph during the weekends?

Yes I do. For weekend sessions, you will be charged an additional fee of $50.

• • • Do you have a referral program?

Of course! Being a small business owner, I rely heavily on referrals. For every referral that books and completes a session with me, you get a $50 credit towards your next session. Each new client also receives a $50 discount to use in their first session. The best part is that there is NO limit! You get a $50 credit for every referral you send our way that books and completes a session, that means if you refer 4 people, you get $200 in credits!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns!
